Beachside Cottage is a pretty 18th Century cottage which can sleep up to 6, and is only a short walk from the harbour side in Staithes. A few steps from the cottage and you are gazing over the harbour wall onto the beach below or peering out to sea. The cottage is set amongst the other ancient cottages in this historic village, celebrated as the home of Captain Cook.

The cottage boasts some wonderful original features including cast iron fireplaces, exposed stone walls, Stripped pine doors and beamed ceilings and yet now provides all creature comforts including a modern fitted kitchen.
The cottage has a lounge with coal fire and sofa bed, dining area, TV, video + DVD and CD/radio. It has a well equipped kitchen including Belfast sink, two bedrooms (one double and one with bunks) and a charming bathroom with original claw foot roll top bath and shower. A washer and dryer are situated in an outbuilding (washing powder included)
